Announcing Funding and Name Change: Using Generative AI to bring renewed strength to a critical industry

We’re excited to announce that we’ve raised $5M in seed funding led by Bonfire Ventures, TMV, BBG Ventures, the Flybdridge Graduate Syndicate and notable angel investors including Squire Co-Founder Songe LaRon. We’re also excited to share that ProPhone is now Topline Pro.

Since our founding, we’ve been dedicated to helping small businesses succeed. For too long, technology companies have not focused on tools built specifically for service based small businesses and we are on a mission to change this. To date we have helped over 1,000 paying businesses generate over $25M in direct job requests with countless more indirect benefits.

We started with a focus on helping home service businesses be discovered with an AI-generated website but we quickly realized this was just the beginning. Since then we have expanded to help with the full cycle of discovery, trust, booking and turning one time customers into repeat business. Changing our name allows us to more accurately represent how we’re helping small home service businesses. Nothing changes about what we’re building and how we work. We’re excited to help our pros become top of the line by growing their top line revenue.

This is only the beginning for Topline Pro. We’re using the capital we raised to reinvest in our customers, our product, and our team. 

We’ve been using generative AI to empower our pros to succeed for over a year. With this capital, we’re expanding our use of generative AI to automate everything that enables a business owner to be discovered, trusted, and booked repeatedly. We’re enabling them to focus on doing great work in the field and to leave the rest to us.

Solutions today are not effective in generating positive ROI, often prohibitively expensive, or do not enable the business to build a direct relationship with the customer which limits their success. We know and have already seen that when used properly, generative AI technology can dramatically change the equation for small business owners looking to grow affordably.
